Just a Quick Note...

.

Because this blog was intended as a place to write my personal thoughts about my life, I have decided to remove the posts from this site and refer all traffic to my professional photography blog. This was done out of respect to my friends and family. If you would like to view the images that were associated with the Fine Art Photography show at BYU please follow this link...

I am currently enrolled at BYU and wish to finish my education here. As long as I am enrolled as a student, I have a responsibility to abide by BYU's honor code. This is the ethical and honest thing to do. I would hope that all individuals would realize that this project was produced in the spirit of love and respect for all parties involved. It is my hope that my artists statement for this body of work would allow for a reflection on the what it is to support all people of any religious background, race, or sexual orientation. May we all strive to live by the golden rule and treat others the way we wish to be treated.

I hope that you haven't been getting bad comments, probably more attention than you wanted. SLOG (www.thestranger.com) is being very supportive of you and your work.

I read some of your blog before you took it down. You express yourself very well. Things will get easier eventually. Though, you may just need to leave Utah. There are tons of Gay Mormons in D.C. We meet them all the time.

Good Luck.

What happened to your blog? There are no posts showing except the partial sentence on this one...

While I don't agree with censorship, I have to commend you on what you've put here, stating your responsibility to follow your school's code while you continue your education there. I think it's very admirable of you.

I fail to see which Honor Code rule your work violates. It seems to me that the administration is throwing around its weight arbitrarily. If we have to have rules, please, lets abide by them. That applies especially to the administration.

You have my 100% kudos on the way you are handling this situation with respect for everyone involved :-)
Way to show a great example to all of us of how to deal with controversy.
